Elon Musk announced that his company xAI, known for developing the chatbot Grok, is working on a fully AI-generated video game. The project, which Musk says could be released before 2026.

Musk’s recent response to a tweet of a user that says: “Video games will be dynamically generated by Grok in the future.” with a 6 second clip attached to it, showing war-like video of the game, Musk responded: “The xAI game studio will release a great AI-generated game before the end of next year”. Implying that Grok will be able to make great video games without direct human interaction. 

After an hour of this Musk had a similar interaction, but this time he says: “Grok will make a movie that is at least watchable before the end of next year and really good movies in 2027”
